NAME: Erika Furudo
CANON: Umineko no Naku Koro ni

CHARACTER INFO: History and personality goes here! Longer isn't always better in this section, but this is the section where you tell the mods about your character. Where did they come from? What are they like? What changed them or impacted their life?
CONSIDERATIONS: How would this character be without memories? I don't need you to rewrite the character info AS AN AMNESIAC!! But things like "Because Oedipus doesn't remember banging his mom, he isn't guilt stricken all the time" would be useful to put here. It's mostly a reference point for the mods -- and for you! -- to see what your amnesiac character would be like!
SKILLS:
The Great Detective: Erika is a an expert in riddles, puzzles and mysteries of all kinds and can solve many of them with ease.
Athleticism: She is surprisingly strong for her slight frame, able to climb the outer walls of a house in the middle of a typhoon with ease.
Detective Proclamation:
Red Truth: Basically, anything said in red is the truth! For humans (or amnesiacs) this means they can only say things in red they personally know to be true - witches with complete knowledge of their gameboard can use the red even when it comes to the thoughts of others and events they haven't personally witnessed. Red Truth can also be used as a weapon. Truths that hurt the opponent psychologically can take the form of a red sword (or any other weapon) that also deals physical damage.
Blue Truth: Things said in blue are true until proven otherwise by Red Truth or concrete evidence. Red confirms or denies ideas; Blue proposes them, cutting through lies and illusions. Like Red Truth, the blue can also be weaponised: theories that can successfully solve a mystery or riddle usually take the form of wedges or spears that penetrate and immobilise the opponent. However, if the theory is disproven, the wounds dealt by it disappear.
BFS: For Erika, both Red and Blue Truth take the form of a huge purple scythe.

"The suffering of a few is okay if it benefits a great many" -- do you agree with this sentiment? Why or why not?
Of course. It's simple math, isn't it? Of course, I suppose anyone included in those few would answer differently. I know I would. I would rather have everyone else suffer than suffer myself. Most people would, I should think.
What event from your past has impacted you the most? Please describe
Being chosen by my Master to be her piece! It was such an honor, and I have gained so much from it! After all, I would have never become a witch if it wasn't for my Master!
If you were a kind of food item, what item would you be and why?
Oh? We've only just met, and already you're thinking of eating me? How inappropriate~! *giggle*
I would be something refined and elegant, of course... somen noodles, perhaps? My thought processes can certainly be as hard for the unintelligent to keep up with as nagashi somen!
Three things you're good at?
Only three? I could fill an entire book with my talents! But of course I don't wish to brag, so leaving it to just three is fine. Of course, the most important thing would be my skill as a detective, which is based not only on my impressive deductive capabilities, but my natural talents of memory and observation as well!
The second thing I should mention is my expertise in the use of chopsticks! I could hardly speak of their excellence if I didn't know how to use them, don't you think?
Thirdly, I am what you'd call a people person. I know how to deal with all kinds of people in all kinds of situations, which is of course an indispensable skill for a detective!
Three things you're not so good at?
Oh, this is a hard one! I can honestly only think of one weakness I have, and it is that I am too perfect! It often makes less intelligent and talented people intimidated and jealous!
Do you believe in soulmates or love at first sight?
No. Any "love" you feel for someone you don't even know is just lust. As for soulmates? What a ridiculous unrealistic idea! Only people who've never been in love themselves go on about things like that.
"Killing criminals is okay if they've committed a grave crime" -- do you agree with this? Why or why not?
I don't really care what happens to criminals after I've caught them. However, if my Master wants them dead or they've slighted me, of course it's okay to kill them!
Do you consider yourself a strong person? Why or not why?
What kind of a question is that supposed to be? I could hardly be a detective if I wasn't strong, right? My Master would surely not have made me her piece if I wasn't strong enough! There is no doubt about my strength!
